A product company, on purpose.
TechBuilds builds and runs its own software products. We chose this model because the best products come from teams that live with their decisions, every day, for years.
Great products are grown, not delivered.
A project ends the day it ships. A product starts there. That is when real people bring real problems, and when a team either listens or moves on to the next brief.
We don't take client work. Every hour we spend goes into products we own, starting with Simply, so the people who use them get a team that is still improving them next year.
Each product is small by design: it solves one everyday problem completely. It runs where the problem lives, in the browser, on the phone or on the desktop. Under the surface every product shares one design system and one engineering platform, which is how a focused team can build a family of products without cutting corners.
The rules we build by.
One job, done completely
We pick a real, everyday problem and solve all of it, instead of a little of everything.
Private by default
We collect only what a product needs to work. Your data stays yours, and our products keep working offline wherever that matters.
Owned for the long run
We never hand a product over. The team that builds it keeps improving it, release after release.
Shared foundations
One design system and one engineering platform across web and mobile. Every product we ship makes the next one better, and faster to build.
What we won't do.
Saying no is how a small company stays focused. These are ours.
- Take client projects that pull us away from our products.
- Sell or share your data. Offline-first is the default.
- Ship features we wouldn't use ourselves.
- Fill your inbox. We write when there is something worth reading.
